How to upload videos to YouTube

After you have taken your video blog, uploaded it to your computer, and put it onto your blog, there is another way to get it seen and heard…share it on YouTube. YouTube is the most popular way to share, comment on, and watch videos of any kind. In fact, over 70 million videos are viewed each and every day, and it's all free. Just follow these 3 easy steps and get your very own video blog onto YouTube. Also, make sure to link to it within your blog.

Step One

Log onto YouTube and click on the Upload Videos link on the top right corner of the homepage. Also, if you haven’t already registered for YouTube, you must do so before you can upload any video.

Step Two

Fill in the appropriate fields for uploading a video. You will have to provide a title, description, tags (like keywords), category, and language for your video. After you have filled in everything, click on the “Go upload a file” button. It should look something like this:

Step Three

Next, browse for the video file on your computer. Then decide whether you want the video to be public or private. And finally, click on the “Upload Video” button. It may take a few minutes, but once the video has been uploaded successfully, you will get a confirmation message. Look at the example below:
