Sure you can tell your friends, family, co-workers, and employees (in the case of a business blog) to visit and subscribe to your blog, but what if you want A blog directory is much like a search engine such as Yahoo or Google. The only difference is that instead of searching for everything on the Internet as Yahoo and Google do, a blog directory searches only for blogs on the Internet. Just like Yahoo and Google, you can go to a blog directory, search by keyword, and get a list of the most relevant blogs. Most blog directories also allow you to search by topic, date, and pretty much anything else. Getting backlinks from these directories will not only improve your search engine ranking with Yahoo and Google, it will also send some traffic your way. If you plan on making some money with your blog, a blog directory will become your best friend. Think of it this way, you can have the best blog in the world, but if you can't get people to it, it will remain just another blog out there on the Internet. Don’t let it be just another blog.
